STAFF GUIDELINES


WARNING!!
WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE TO ANY STAFF ABUSE. STAFF ABUSE WILL BE HANDLED ACCORDINGLY, BY EITHER A SERIES OF WARNS, OR AN INSTANT DEMOTION.


EXAMPLES OF STAFF ABUSE:
PHSYGUNNING OBJECTS/PLAYERS IN UNRELATED STAFF DUTIES

USING RANK COMMANDS WITH NO REASON
USING RANK COMMANDS TO ABUSE OR HAVE FUN

USING RANK COMMANDS OFF DUTY
BEING STAFF ON DUTY WHILE RPING
UNNECESSARY NOCLIP


ADDITIONAL STAFF ABUSE INFORMATION:
Abusing in MULTIPLE of these examples will lead to an instant demotion.
You MUST go on duty when told to by admins+. NO questions asked.

If you are a TMOD, any form of abusing will result in an immediate demotion.
Staff will get 2 AWs before a demotion on the 3rd AW. (AW = Admin Warn)


ADMIN WARNS:
Admin warns are received when caught abusing in a minor way.

Admin warns may be skipped based on the severity of the situation.
Do not cause an argument because you have received an AW. (AWs are only administered by admin+)
AW 1 - Verbal Warning
AW 2 - Last Warning
AW 3 - Demotion


PROFESSIONALISM/PRIORITIES:

Professionalism: If you are given staff, remember respect and professionalism is expected of you. Insulting other players publicly, starting arguments, and causing other drama/chaos within the server or with staff members will have its consequences. These actions are against the guidelines, and any infractions against these guidelines may result in an immediate demotion depending on the severity.
Priorities: Due to the large amount of other tasks that must be taken care off, it is not required for that Head Admin to takes sits if staff members of lower ranks are online. Staff members lower in rank than another staff member must take a sit when they are told to without argument, and the lower your rank the more sits you're expected to take.


THE DO’S
DO be respectful to any player or staff member.

DO help anyone with questions they have. (No matter how dumb) This will be noticed, and promotions will be given.
DO listen to both sides of a sit.

DO ask a higher up if you are unsure of a punishment.
DO use your common sense.


THE DON'TS

DON’T abuse no clipping. Yes, it is fun, but this can be an immediate demotion.
DON’T freeze entities in place making your entities unraidable.

DON’T ban people for personal RP reasons.
DON’T bring or teleport to any staff members without asking first. Friends or not, this is unacceptable.

DON’T be biased.
DON’T cause drama.

DON’T punish other staff members if you are a lower rank than admin.
DON’T act like you are above the rules. This makes you look ignorant. Rules are in place for everyone.

DON’T abuse freezing players.
DON’T abuse the power given to you.
DON’T take your own sits ever.


COMMANDS:
In binds keep the quotes or else the bind will not work.


!XBAN - This is used to temporarily ban a player from the server unless a perma ban is necessary. A menu will pop up and you can proceed from there.

bind “key” “say !xban”
!KICK {name} {reason} - A kick is to remove a target from the server.

DO NOT BIND
!MUTE {name} - This command is used to stop a player from sending messages in the server.

DO NOT BIND
!GAG {name} - This command is used to stop a player from speaking in the server.
DO NOT BIND
!JAIL {name} {time} - Jailing is used to punish a player for specific amount of time in an indestructible cage.

bind “key” “ulx jail @ {amount of time}”
!FREEZE {name} - Freezing is accessible by right clicking a player while physgunning. To unfreeze the player physgun them again and do not right click. This stops a player from moving, looking around, shooting, or using anything.

ALREADY BOUND
!JAILTP {name} - This jails and teleports a player to your location.
DO NOT BIND
!BRING {name} - This will teleport a player to your location.
DO NOT BIND

!GOTO {name} - This will teleport you to a player
DO NOT BIND
!RETURN @ - This will return a player you are looking at to their original position.

!WARN {name} {reason} - This will warn a player for a punishment

DO NOT BIND
!BLOGS - This will open a menu for your eyes only. Use this to help prove or disprove a sit.

!MENU - This will open a ULX menu with nearly every command you will need.
bind “key” “ulx menu”
!NOCLIP ^ - This will help you get to locations away from players to take sits.
bind “key” “ulx noclip”


HOW TO TAKE A SIT:

Remember sits that just say admin to me or RDM can not be taken detail is needed. Also DO NOT forget to become Admin On Duty when taking a sit.
Claiming a sit is easy. All that is required is pressing F3 , and clicking the button on the report that says CLAIM . Once the claim button has turned green with your name in the box, you may either go to the player or bring them to you depending on the situation. When taking a sit hear both sides of the story, understand the situation, and make sure you know what you are doing in the situation. Consult a higher up if things get out of control, or you do not understand what the correct punishment is. If all goes well, proceed to give the correct punishment to the player. (DO NOT forget to warn the player using !warn {name} {reason}, unless the player is to be banned. If you can not ban a player for the correct amount of time post the ban in the discord channel “bans” with the SteamID and reason.) When punishing a player make sure the player being punished understands what they did wrong, and why they are being punished. After the sit is taken care of, proceed to return the players who are not punished or return yourself.


RANKS:
T-MOD - You are being watched. Do not abuse or it will result in immediate demotion. Sits highly count for you. Your entire job is sits. You will be promoted based on sit count, and if you understanding our rules.


MODERATOR - You are everything of a TMod plus a little bit more. Sits still matter for you, but it is not the most important thing. A promotion will not be based on sit count. Promotions will be based on reputation in the community and knowledge of rules and punishments. Remember, Admin will not just be handed out. You must earn it and prove yourself. Also, as Moderator you are allowed to review and respond to staff applications.


ADMIN - You’re a big boi now. Admins must still take sits, but it is not nearly as important as before. In order to keep this rank you must stay commutative with everyone. You are the middle ground for the Head Admin+, Moderators, and TMods. Also, as Admin you are allowed to review and accept/deny ban appeals, extend bans, and respond making an input on staff applications. DON’T FORGET HEAD ADMIN+ CAN OVERPOWER ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE.


HEAD ADMIN - You are not required to take sits unless you are the only staff online. Anyways, congratulations if you’ve gotten this far. You are able to do what you want, but your responsibilities are plentiful. As Head Admin you must respond to staff applications accept/deny, respond to ban appeals accept/deny, handle promotions/demotions, deal with any drama in the staff team, and be able to control the staff team.
